The system automates and integrates all aspects of running our shop, handling everything from quoting jobs to shipping them. The E2 system helps us gather real-time shop floor data with our job and machine barcode system. Our employees log in and out of jobs as they progress from machine to machine within our shop. The information is cross-referenced by the computer system with our job-costing database, enabling us to evaluate and analyze job time estimates and actual time spent so that we can more accurately quote pricing to our customers. The Status Mapping feature compiles all this information and presents it in an easy-to-see format, giving us an overview of all the active jobs in our shop to see which are on time, ahead of schedule, or running behind.
