Carr Tool offers both Re-Sharpen and Re-Tip services both for our tools and for tools made by other manufacturers. These procedures extend the usable life of the tool, preserve its cutting integrity, and save our customers the time and expense of ordering new tools.

Our Re-Sharpen Process returns the tool to its original printed specifications by removing all wear on the cutting edge. Our Re-Tip Process removes all existing carbide inserts on the tool and replaces them with new carbide to return the tool to its original piece specifications.

All reconditioned tools are in-process and final inspected, and held to the same stringent quality standards as our new tools. To verify this, we back all our reconditioning work with ISO 9001 standards used in self-certification forms, eliminating the need for our customers to perform their own inspections.
